How do I know if my dryer duct needs cleaning?

  • I offer FREE video inspection.  I show you what the duct looks like inside, and let you make the decision to clean or not.
  • As a user, your dryer should only take 45 minutes to dry large, heavy loads.  If it takes longer, It’s probably time to clean!

How do I clean your duct?

  • The first step in cleaning your dryer ducts is to make sure your dryer is hooked up to the wall correctly. A poorly connected transition duct is a big hazard.  If this is the case at your house, I clean behind the dryer and correct the transition duct with no upcharge.
  • The duct itself is cleaned from the outside with a state-of-the-art air system that pulls itself through the duct from the vent cover, all the way to the dryer.  This is the SAFEST, MOST EFFICIENT method available.

ABOUT ME, and HOW the BUSINESS STARTED

My name is Joe.  I’m actually a retired high school math teacher!  However, for 30 summers I worked in many areas of the trades including carpentry, mechanical insulation, heavy equipment including 16 summers as a crane operator.  All of those life experiences make me even better at this job.

This business started when my wife informed me that she was replacing our 6 year old dryer because “it didn’t work anymore!!”  I said wait, let me look into this.  Well, a day figuring it out, 3trips to the home improvement store, and 5 days later, I had extracted an entire 5 gallon pail of lint, and our clothes were BONE DRY in 42 MINUTES !!  After doing several others for friends and family I thought, ”Hey!  This could be a business!”   And here we are HUNDREDS of dryer ducts later….   I’m a little more efficient now and have yours cleaned in 30-60 minutes.
